went to be with the Lord on
November 4, 2009.
Bandit was born on January 7, 2001. She is survived by her adoptive Dad and Mom, Derek and Karen Conklin; her sister Tutti; her biological parents, Gizmo Parsley and Jasmine Glowka; her littermates, Rambo, Sparky, and Scoobee; and many grandparents, friends, and relatives – some with 2 legs and some with 4 legs.
Bandit earned her Puppy Head Start Degree in May 2001, Advanced Dog Training Degree in August 2002, and Canine Good Citizen Certification in September 2003, all from Petsmart; and completed Barking Buddies Therapy Dog Training in 2007. She was a Teacup Dog Agility Association (TDAA) Qualifier in September 2006. Bandit and her family were volunteers for VITAS Hospice Paw Pals program. She and her sister Tutti inspired the Tails From God pet ministry at Zion Lutheran Church in Hamilton.
Bandit modeled for the Caring Touch K9 Massage brochure, the Animal Friends Humane Society 2007 calendar, Wiggly Field Dog Park 2008 calendar, and the 2 Dogs/2000 Miles 2010 Canine Cancer Calendar. Most recently, Bandit was a founder, model, and Office Staff member for the Greater Cincinnati Pet Pages and 2010 Greater Dayton Pet Pages.
A celebration of Bandit’s life will be held Sunday from 4:00-6:00 at the Conklin house. Memorials may be made to an animal rescue organization of your choice.
